Robyn was born and raised in rural Saskatchewan before moving to British Columbia in 2010 to embrace life in the mountains. She studied Recreation, Fish, and Wildlife at Selkirk College in Castlegar and later completed her degree in Natural Resource Management at TRU. Specializing in bark beetle management for a decade, she traveled extensively across Western Canada, working with rural communities.

Currently, Robyn is pursuing a Master of Environmental Sciences, focusing on cross-cultural communication in land restoration. She is particularly interested in the dynamics of relationship-building between Western scientists and First Nations when collaborating on restoration initiatives.
