Celeste graduated with a Bachelor of Human Kinetics with a minor in Women’s Studies from the University of Ottawa. She completed her Masters in Human Kinetics in 2022. Her thesis topic explored food insecurity and local food development in remote Indigenous communities in northern Ontario. Celeste did her fieldwork in both Kasabonika Lake First Nation (Oji-Cree) and Moose Cree First Nation (Cree). She was supervised by Dr. Michael Robidoux, and her committee members Dr. Courtney Mason and Dr. François Haman.
